# WIRE TUN vs QR Code Super Scanner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: QR Code Super Scanner at 100% against WIRE TUN's 50%. WIRE TUN's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (493 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WIRE TUN holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WIRE TUN has 493 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of WIRE TUN's written reviews are positive against 100% of QR Code Super Scanner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WIRE TUN ships an update daily, QR Code Super Scanner every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
