# Coffee Note vs Coffee Library

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coffee Note at 100% against Coffee Library's 50%. Coffee Note also leads on ratings volume (15 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). Coffee Library's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coffee Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Coffee Library sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coffee Library holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coffee Note has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Coffee Note's written reviews are positive against 50% of Coffee Library's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Coffee Note ships an update every 2 weeks, Coffee Library every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
