# Coffee Note vs BrewTimer

The clearest difference is update cadence: BrewTimer at every 2 days against Coffee Note's every 2 weeks. Coffee Note's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.5). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coffee Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and BrewTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coffee Note ships an update every 2 weeks, BrewTimer every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 12, 2026 respectively.
