# OpenWav vs Wave Music Manager

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wave Music Manager at every 2 days against OpenWav's every 9 days. OpenWav's advantage is ratings volume (164 vs 6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenWav sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Wave Music Manager sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for OpenWav against 5.0 for Wave Music Manager. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OpenWav has 164 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
