# OpenWav vs Odé Bible

The clearest difference is ratings volume: OpenWav at 165 against Odé Bible's 2. Odé Bible's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenWav sells 24 one-off in-app purchases and Odé Bible sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for OpenWav against 5.0 for Odé Bible. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OpenWav has 165 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of OpenWav's written reviews are positive against 100% of Odé Bible's.

OpenWav ships an update every 9 days, Odé Bible every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
