# iTerminus vs WebSSH

iTerminus and WebSSH both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of WebSSH's written reviews are positive against 33% of iTerminus's. WebSSH also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTerminus sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and WebSSH sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for iTerminus against 4.6 for WebSSH. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 44 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of iTerminus's written reviews are positive against 82% of WebSSH's.

iTerminus ships an update every 2 months, WebSSH every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
