# iPerfman vs AGC

The clearest difference is monetization model: iPerfman at free with in-app purchases against AGC's subscription. iPerfman also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1). AGC's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (57 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iPerfman sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and AGC sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iPerfman holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AGC has 57 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of iPerfman's written reviews are positive against 89% of AGC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iPerfman ships an update every 3 weeks, AGC every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
