# SLAP vs Splashin

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Splashin at 259K against SLAP's 274. Splashin also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and chart position (#107 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SLAP sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Splashin sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splashin holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splashin has 259K ratings behind it against 274, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of SLAP's written reviews are positive against 98% of Splashin's.

SLAP ships an update every 3 weeks, Splashin every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
