# AIcademy vs Play Fast Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Play Fast Notes at every 8 days against AIcademy's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AIcademy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Play Fast Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AIcademy ships an update every 3 months, Play Fast Notes every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
