# Seestar vs Memolinx

The clearest difference is rating: Memolinx at 5.0 against Seestar's 4.2. Memolinx also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). Seestar's advantage is ratings volume (346 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Memolinx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seestar has 346 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Seestar ships an update monthly, Memolinx every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
