# Nostrmo vs YakiPro

The clearest difference is update cadence: YakiPro at weekly against Nostrmo's every 5 weeks. YakiPro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nostrmo sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and YakiPro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nostrmo ships an update every 5 weeks, YakiPro weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
