# Vivid Bot vs Scribd

The clearest difference is monetization model: Vivid Bot at freemium against Scribd's subscription. Vivid Bot also leads on review sentiment (25% vs 14%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Scribd's advantage is rating (2.8 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (275 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vivid Bot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Scribd sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scribd holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scribd has 275 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Vivid Bot's written reviews are positive against 14% of Scribd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vivid Bot ships an update weekly, Scribd fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
