# Vivid Bot vs WhatsThat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WhatsThat at 71% against Vivid Bot's 25%. WhatsThat also leads on ratings volume (17 vs 3). Vivid Bot's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (2.3 vs 2.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vivid Bot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and WhatsThat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vivid Bot holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WhatsThat has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Vivid Bot's written reviews are positive against 71% of WhatsThat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vivid Bot ships an update weekly, WhatsThat every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
