# Speed Reader vs TagTally

The clearest difference is rating: TagTally at 5.0 against Speed Reader's 3.8. Speed Reader's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed Reader sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and TagTally sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TagTally holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed Reader has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
