# Loop Video vs WhyHere

The clearest difference is ads: WhyHere at none against Loop Video's shown. WhyHere also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop Video sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WhyHere sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loop Video ships an update every 3 months, WhyHere every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
