# Affirm vs intentionally

The clearest difference is update cadence: intentionally at every 3 days against Affirm's every 6 weeks. Affirm's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Affirm ships an update every 6 weeks, intentionally every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
