# Chain Driver vs TruckTuck

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Chain Driver at 2.9K against TruckTuck's 22. TruckTuck's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TruckTuck holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chain Driver has 2.9K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Chain Driver's written reviews are positive against 50% of TruckTuck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
