# Disc vs disctrac

The clearest difference is rating: disctrac at 5.0 against Disc's 4.4. disctrac also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). Disc's advantage is ratings volume (61 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Disc sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. disctrac asks for nothing beyond the download.

disctrac holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Disc has 61 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
