# Pal Chat vs YourChat

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: YourChat at none against Pal Chat's 2. YourChat also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 59%) and device support (4 vs 2). Pal Chat's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (429 vs 10). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pal Chat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. YourChat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pal Chat holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pal Chat has 429 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Pal Chat's written reviews are positive against 75% of YourChat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
