# Screen Time Control・App Block vs LIMIT

The clearest difference is update cadence: LIMIT at every 2 days against Screen Time Control・App Block's monthly. Screen Time Control・App Block's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Time Control・App Block sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and LIMIT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Time Control・App Block holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 22 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Screen Time Control・App Block's written reviews are positive against 57% of LIMIT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screen Time Control・App Block ships an update monthly, LIMIT every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
