# Omni Connect vs Bracketology

The clearest difference is rating: Omni Connect at 5.0 against Bracketology's 4.0. Omni Connect also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Bracketology's advantage is ratings volume (186 vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Omni Connect sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Bracketology sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Omni Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bracketology has 186 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Omni Connect ships an update every 9 days, Bracketology fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
