# Alphabetris vs The Workshop

The clearest difference is ads: Alphabetris at none against The Workshop's shown. Alphabetris also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). The Workshop's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alphabetris sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and The Workshop sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alphabetris ships an update every 2 weeks, The Workshop every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
