# Freshman Fitness vs BillDecoder

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Freshman Fitness at 76 against BillDecoder's 3. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freshman Fitness sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and BillDecoder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Freshman Fitness against 5.0 for BillDecoder. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freshman Fitness has 76 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Freshman Fitness ships an update monthly, BillDecoder every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
