# Steer Madness vs Fox Fire

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Steer Madness at none against Fox Fire's 7. Steer Madness also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 70%). Fox Fire's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, ratings volume, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fox Fire sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Steer Madness asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fox Fire holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Steer Madness's written reviews are positive against 70% of Fox Fire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Steer Madness ships an update monthly, Fox Fire every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
