# Lively vs Klip

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Klip at none against Lively's 17. Lively's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (55K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lively sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Klip asks for nothing beyond the download.

Klip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lively has 55K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lively ships an update every 10 days, Klip every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
