# Castly+ vs CastHub Ultra

The clearest difference is rating: Castly+ at 4.7 against CastHub Ultra's 3.5. Castly+ also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 38) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). CastHub Ultra's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 35%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Castly+ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and CastHub Ultra sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Castly+ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Castly+ has 14K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Castly+'s written reviews are positive against 56% of CastHub Ultra's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Castly+ ships an update every 2 months, CastHub Ultra every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
