# 阁楼 vs FlexCalc

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlexCalc at every 3 weeks against 阁楼's every 2 months. FlexCalc also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 阁楼 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FlexCalc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for 阁楼 against 5.0 for FlexCalc. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

阁楼 ships an update every 2 months, FlexCalc every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
