# EventQR vs GO

The clearest difference is update cadence: GO at every 5 months against EventQR's every 21 months. GO also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EventQR ships an update every 21 months, GO every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
