# FireTexts vs Undrift

The clearest difference is rating: Undrift at 5.0 against FireTexts's 4.5. Undrift also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). FireTexts's advantage is ratings volume (31 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FireTexts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Undrift sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Undrift holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FireTexts has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FireTexts ships an update every 2 months, Undrift every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
