# SoftSay vs Secure Chamber

The clearest difference is update cadence: Secure Chamber at every 2 months against SoftSay's every 5 months. Secure Chamber also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoftSay sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Secure Chamber sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoftSay ships an update every 5 months, Secure Chamber every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
