# SoftSay vs nomatch

The clearest difference is update cadence: nomatch at every 10 days against SoftSay's every 5 months. SoftSay's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoftSay sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and nomatch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoftSay ships an update every 5 months, nomatch every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
