# TalkAI vs SpeakG

The clearest difference is ratings volume: TalkAI at 2.4K against SpeakG's 53. TalkAI also leads on review sentiment (93% vs 80%). SpeakG's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TalkAI sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 7 days and SpeakG sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for TalkAI against 4.9 for SpeakG. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TalkAI has 2.4K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of TalkAI's written reviews are positive against 80% of SpeakG's.

TalkAI ships an update every 8 days, SpeakG weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
