# GoMode vs Atoms

GoMode and Atoms both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of GoMode's written reviews are positive against 56% of Atoms's. GoMode also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). Atoms's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 12). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoMode sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Atoms sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GoMode holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Atoms has 11K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of GoMode's written reviews are positive against 56% of Atoms's.

GoMode ships an update every 6 days, Atoms every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
