# FirstVPN vs VPN Proxy©

The clearest difference is rating: FirstVPN at 5.0 against VPN Proxy©'s 3.0. FirstVPN also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). VPN Proxy©'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and device support (5 vs 2). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FirstVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and VPN Proxy© sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FirstVPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively.

FirstVPN ships an update every 4 months, VPN Proxy© every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
