# snapSchool vs Mathflow

The clearest difference is ads: Mathflow at none against snapSchool's shown. Mathflow also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5). snapSchool's advantage is ratings volume (274 vs 6) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. snapSchool sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Mathflow sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mathflow holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: snapSchool has 274 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

snapSchool ships an update every 8 days, Mathflow monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
