# Ask.AI vs Dice It

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dice It at daily against Ask.AI's weekly. Ask.AI's advantage is ratings volume (77 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ask.AI sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Dice It sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ask.AI against 5.0 for Dice It. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ask.AI has 77 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ask.AI ships an update weekly, Dice It daily. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
