# DailyRice vs AI Assistant

The clearest difference is rating: AI Assistant at 4.6 against DailyRice's 1.0. AI Assistant also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). DailyRice's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DailyRice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AI Assistant sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Assistant holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Assistant has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DailyRice ships an update every 3 weeks, AI Assistant every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
