# Immersive Translate vs Breakly

The clearest difference is rating: Breakly at 5.0 against Immersive Translate's 4.6. Immersive Translate's advantage is ratings volume (561 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Immersive Translate sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Breakly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Breakly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Immersive Translate has 561 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Immersive Translate's written reviews are positive against 67% of Breakly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
