# tetrify vs Achilles

The clearest difference is monetization model: tetrify at free with in-app purchases against Achilles's subscription. tetrify also leads on ratings volume (60 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). Achilles's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. tetrify sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Achilles sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Achilles holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: tetrify has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of tetrify's written reviews are positive against 100% of Achilles's.

tetrify ships an update every 6 days, Achilles weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
