# Choco Store vs Idle Oil Tycoon

The clearest difference is rating: Choco Store at 4.6 against Idle Oil Tycoon's 1.9. Choco Store also leads on ratings volume (694 vs 33). Idle Oil Tycoon's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Choco Store sells 17 one-off in-app purchases and Idle Oil Tycoon sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Choco Store holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Choco Store has 694 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of Choco Store's written reviews are positive against 8% of Idle Oil Tycoon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Choco Store ships an update every 11 days, Idle Oil Tycoon every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
