# Pool cleaning! vs Scrapyard Magnate

Pool cleaning! and Scrapyard Magnate both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 60% of Scrapyard Magnate's written reviews are positive against 22% of Pool cleaning!'s. Pool cleaning!'s advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (397 vs 108). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pool cleaning! sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Scrapyard Magnate sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pool cleaning! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 397 and 108 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Pool cleaning!'s written reviews are positive against 60% of Scrapyard Magnate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pool cleaning! ships an update weekly, Scrapyard Magnate monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
