# Ring Sizer vs RipGuard

The clearest difference is rating: RipGuard at 5.0 against Ring Sizer's 4.2. RipGuard also leads on ads (none vs shown). Ring Sizer's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ring Sizer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and RipGuard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RipGuard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ring Sizer has 2.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ring Sizer ships an update every 3 weeks, RipGuard every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
