# Hide in The Backroom vs 第9ターミナル

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 第9ターミナル at none against Hide in The Backroom's 4. 第9ターミナル also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). Hide in The Backroom's advantage is ratings volume (24K vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hide in The Backroom sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. 第9ターミナル asks for nothing beyond the download.

第9ターミナル holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hide in The Backroom has 24K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Hide in The Backroom's written reviews are positive against 77% of 第9ターミナル's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hide in The Backroom ships an update every 3 weeks, 第9ターミナル every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
