# BeadPatternCreator vs BeadCraft

The clearest difference is update cadence: BeadCraft at fortnightly against BeadPatternCreator's every 2 months. BeadPatternCreator's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeadPatternCreator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BeadCraft sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeadPatternCreator ships an update every 2 months, BeadCraft fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
