# DkNote vs Tela

The clearest difference is update cadence: DkNote at every 6 days against Tela's every 4 weeks. DkNote also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Tela's advantage is device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DkNote sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Tela sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DkNote ships an update every 6 days, Tela every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
