# Liftoff vs Plate Math

The clearest difference is rating: Liftoff at 4.8 against Plate Math's 3.0. Liftoff also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (101K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Liftoff sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Plate Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Liftoff holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Liftoff has 101K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
