# ChatAssist vs Bloc

The clearest difference is device support: ChatAssist at 3 against Bloc's 1. ChatAssist also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatAssist sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Bloc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
