# Fore All vs The Local Ledger

The clearest difference is ads: The Local Ledger at none against Fore All's shown. The Local Ledger also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). Fore All's advantage is ratings volume (176 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Fore All against 5.0 for The Local Ledger. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fore All has 176 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fore All ships an update every 3 weeks, The Local Ledger every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
