# Speedometer GPS vs BACDisplay

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BACDisplay at 100% against Speedometer GPS's 33%. BACDisplay also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). Speedometer GPS's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (8.6K vs 1). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedometer GPS sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. BACDisplay asks for nothing beyond the download.

Speedometer GPS holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer GPS has 8.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Speedometer GPS's written reviews are positive against 100% of BACDisplay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
