# Ghost Controls vs Safe

The clearest difference is ads: Ghost Controls at none against Safe's shown. Ghost Controls also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). Safe's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ghost Controls ships an update every 8 months, Safe fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and May 14, 2026 respectively.
